Host an Energy Treasure Hunt
Eligibility & Scoring Measures
To be eligible to participate in the Clean Energy Bounty program, organizations must be located in a rural community with a population less than 10,000 (see the Climate and Economic Justice Screening Tool) with average power bills totaling at least $2,000/month. Private, public, and non-profit organizations are welcome to apply. Scoring will be based on the following criteria:

Project impact potential

Demonstrated interest in energy projects

Ability and interest in replicating future treasure hunts

Ability to implement energy projects

Ability to fulfill participant obligations:

Five one-hour planning meetings

Three-day on-site Treasure Hunt

Application Review Process
Application forms will be accepted through November 10, 2023 at 2:00pm Mountain Time. An advisory committee will review and rank applications. The top six high-scoring organizations will be asked to provide additional information, through verbal or written narrative.
